About my funding!

As a young producer in south London I create music to not only help my self and entertain the audience, but to boost the popularity of the Uk rap scene. When hiring different artists to express their emotions and experiences of where they come from and how the live. 
With some funding i will be able to use more equipment with better facilities as well as travel and book studios that top artists and producers have worked. This could build up more connections and introduce this genre to people with different style with a larger fan base.

The genre that I'm currently working in being Grime and Uk trap actually works really well with samples from either famous tracks or 1900's jazz tunes. Being able to afford some of these samples would also help because it could encourage people from an older generation to listen to it because it has the samples from tracks they may have loved before.

From previous experiences when i've had the chance to collaborate with certain artists or use studio equipment I've been in there 24/7 because I feel you are always given a chance for a reason and to for-fill it  is a responsibility.  I have made several tracks with artists that i have encountered and I'd like to think that the time i have off is mainly spent in a studio or online trying to find local upcoming artists. 

Growing up in London inspires me to show the other story aside the bright lights. This doesn't necessarily mean a dark genre, but it shows another side to the capital. These tracks are more then music. They are separate stories on top of a track that i will have composed. This is obviously a big part of the track because the music behind will add the mood as well as the hype! 

This is why it is so important to me to have the facilities to create these experiences.

 For my first track Training day I was mainly focusses on the drum patterns and what Bpm of 140. The drums contain a snare used from the Lex Lugar sample pack. The 808 was made by me on Logic pro X with the ES2 plug in. It was originally the saw synth, but  i played around with the filters and created this beauty! The whole track was so particular on key features like the simple strings riff. This was because i took inspiration from the Training day 2 Cypher that recently came out:

This hasn't been mixed and after 32 bars i just played around with it.
    II took inspiration from the American styled trap beats. This included an allot slower tempo at 85Bpm as well as a harder 808 to hit the piano. The pattern of the piano is 123,123,12. This is a pattern I'm not really familiar with. So with the being my first project of this sty, I'm satisfied with the outcome.  The clap were typical Lex Luger claps. These are usually used on tracks for artists like Tyga. The 808 is my usual creation although i added reverb and added EQ.    This track has the most amount of time spent when editing and deciding on key features when filtering  and cutting audio clips. This is a basic style of trap beat. The piano, pad and reverb creates the main hook which sticks through out the whole track. This is very particular to the genre of Uk trap. The drums usually  take are from sample packs but some of these are logic drums which have been filtered cut up and reused. There are also crashes that have been cut up and have even been reversed for build ups. This track was also helped out by Jesse who added the choir 1 minute in which i feel combines well with the 808 and crashes.   This track was something that i had been experimenting on recently because of the audio file. I wanted to see how it would be just with the drums and lowpass filters. This is why nothing is mixed and is all at the wrong levels. The snares need to be brought up as well as the high hats. the 808's are also distorted purely from not being mixed and clipped. This feature doesn't actually sound that bad and could be something I experiment with in the future.
