Gig review

I watched hanna grazia peform in Dulwich kingsdale. She performed a number of covers and also some original songs that she had created.
Allthough she is only 17, she controlled the stage impressively using techniques such as; eye contact, projecting her voice and interacting with the croud by using comedy at times which was quite interesting.
Allthough she didn't have the best voice she made it a night to remember using Her personality and looks to be honest.

The lighting was very simple, it started off with the one main light aimed on her.
She started off singing soul and as she progressed the lights became more adventurous and she became louder.
Also the genre of what songs she was singing changed when she began to sing covers of 2000 r&b hits

The dress code was also simple being a slim black dress and black trainers. This could have been just her choice of clothes, but i feel that it was a fashion statement to her performance.

Her performance made me appreciate misè en scene when it comes to music. I noticed the lighting, props and how she dressed. I enjoyed the gig because of all of those features.
