My final track was taken with a UK style drum pattern with a drum snare sample that I then used behind a beat that i have been working on. This drum pattern includes the drum samples used, like the snare, hi hats and crashes. These were all layered with the massive 808 behind them boosting it.
The effects used on this track were;
Lowpass filter
Cutting up audio clips
Slowing down and reversing parts of the tracks
These were all used to maintain the UK trap style. They may take allot of time once everything has been mastered, but they fit the genre perfectly. This track could have been mixed a little better when finalised, for example I could have boosted the hi hats and taken a little off the snare. This was another thing I had learnt from Phil's mixing sessions.
